Business Development Manager – Semiconductor manufacturing process (m/f/d)

A dedicated Business Development Manager (m/f/d) is being sought for the Technology department to join the AT-C3 Competence Center team as soon as possible. This role involves collaborating with partners, managing funded innovation projects, and connecting customers with the right experts in process technology and technology selection to drive cutting-edge chip development.

Your Responsibilities:

• Working together with Solution Managers in the partner organizations on project concepts for SMEs and startups to give them access to process competencies and the European Pilot lines for Chips
• Project management and documentation for funded (eligible) projects in the field of innovation services
• Screening for expert services in the Network of the European Chips Competence Centers and assignment of tasks to external experts
• Screening and preparation of projects for the Project Evaluation Board
• Organizing the matching experts for the customers – within the network and outside – for the areas of process technology and the selection of the technologies to be used

Your Profile:

• Completed degree in a relevant field (e.g. Physics & Material Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics & Automation Technology, Manufacturing processes for semiconductor production, Artificial Intelligence etc.) or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a management position, requiring responsibility and the ability to work independently
• Strong determination to work on the business development side of the industry with a strong customer focus
• Project management for your customers from the project idea to the finished concept
• Strong organizational skills, project management skills and communication skills as well as event management skills
• Self-initiative, strong implementation skills and an independent working style, resilience and enthusiasm for highly complicated projects in new and exciting fields
• Fluent in German (C1/C2) and English (C1)
